Associate is in training to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to provide exceptional customer service. The ability to obtain a thorough understanding of ClaimCenter, CARE, Outlook, and telephone applications is required. This individual will handle inbound and outbound telephone service calls with respect to claims First Notice of Loss (FNOL), glass, towing and existing claims calls that roll from branch operations. The associate demonstrates sound verbal and written communication skills. Works well with supervision
You will be:
Providing exceptional customer service through telephone contact to sell policies and service existing accounts
Gain customer trust and respect by establishing and maintaining effective relationships
Employees will be required to obtain a state insurance license as needed and meet continuing education requirements. Comprehensive training is provided
Description:
Assists customers with new and existing claims
Promotes participation of our client’s preferred provider programs and services when applicable
Provides telephone coverage in accordance with position description
Adheres to the standards put forth in call strength audit guidelines
Actively works to increase product knowledge – utilizes KM and resources from the SCO Intranet pages
Meets performance and dependability expectations as outlined by management
Contributes to a positive and respectful environment that fuels engagement
May be called upon to handle additional duties as required
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Secure and maintain state and non-resident licenses
Regular evening, weekend and holiday coverage as dictated by business needs
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word
Complete ongoing job-related training as assigned through ATLAS or otherwise
Work Environment:
Training Hours (weeks): M-F 10 AM - 5:35 PM
Shift Hours: TBD - will have 2 consecutive days off and one weekend 2:30pm to 10pm
First Day: Training period is 4-6 months, but start taking calls within 2-3 weeks
Metrics: Dependability (be there and be on time). Once fully trained (90 days), life & sales referrals (8 leads/quarter). Adherence (when you need to be on the phones at the right time 90% and above). Looking for consultative approach. Starting out, 15-20 calls/day then can range from 10-20 calls per day.
