Starting Salary is $71,008.60 - $127,000.00 annually. Because work-life-balance is a priority at State Farm, compensation is based on our standard 38:45-hour work week! Salary offered is dependent on skills and qualifications, with the high end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience.

This is a hybrid position which allows you to spend some of your time working from home as well as some time working collaboratively in-office. During the job training period you may have a higher percentage of time spent in-office to support your learning experience.

Responsibilities

Responsible for first-line management of assigned Auto Claim personnel, which includes hiring, training, coaching, performance management and salary activitiesLeads team toward desired department and company goalsResponsible for the review and control of the operation's claim activities including investigations, claim payments, and adjustment expense paymentsServes as a technical resource in the areas of claims settlement procedures, company claim policies and procedures, insurance contracts and endorsements, automotive repair methods and parts, medical and anatomical terminology, types of personal injury and their prognosis, applicable federal/state laws, and legal requirementsResponsible for coordinating, communicating, and implementing new Company programs, policies, practices, and proceduresEnsures compliance with company procedures, applicable federal/state laws, and legal requirementsPromotes development of employeesEmployees must successfully complete all required training, including applicable licensing exam(s) and background checks required of various state(s).
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferredPrior formal or informal leadership experience required; auto claims operations and/or call center experience preferredExperience handling property damage claims is preferredEffective written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrates the following leadership behaviors:Promote and maintain a relentless focus on the customer when making decisionsCandidly assess our environment and tackle challenges head-onInspire and energize people to understand and achieve common goalsPMCL
