Summary:
Cook Children's Outpatient Specialty Clinic in Prosper, TX is seeking a Child Life Specialist. As a Child Life Specialist, you will ensure that patients and their families have an excellent patient experience by assessing, educating, preparing, and supporting patients and families throughout their healthcare journey. The child life specialist collaborates closely with other healthcare and community providers to promote growth and development and facilitate positive adjustment. Hours/Location: M-F 8 am-4:30 pm / Prosper, TX
Required Education & Qualifications:
Requires completion of a child life internship.Bachelor's or master's degree in child Life, child development, or a closely related field.Certified Child Life Specialist, by exam, preferred within one year of hire.American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS is required within 60 days of hire.
