Posting Summary
Coordinate and oversee complex, specialized graduate program processes in team environment supporting units within the College of Arts & Sciences, College Administrative Services ( CAS CAS ) in the areas of graduate teaching and research appointments, scholarships, and funding commitments. Responsible for coordinating, tracking, managing, and supporting graduate program admissions process; appointments, funding distributions, and funding tracking; reporting and reconciliation of funding commitments, net tuition, distributions; liaison and coordinator of graduate processes with Dept Support/Finance team, Graduate College, SPA , SFS , and Dean’s Office; and improve operations; develop and maintain procedural documentation; ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data; interpret and respond to complex inquiries related to award compliance, graduate admission, appointments, and funding commitments. Interpret and communicate complex regulations, laws and procedural information based on a thorough understanding of compliance with university policies, contracts, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor’s degree in related area and three years of experience to include coursework in accounting or business required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel and Word), and database applications required. Effective analytical, problem solving, organizational, communication, interpersonal, and team-collaboration skills required. Attention to detail and accuracy required. Demonstrated experience and commitment to overall customer service.
Desirable Qualifications
Experience using financial accounting systems, such as PeopleSoft highly desirable.
