  Position Summary

  Support comprehensive coordination of Aetna One Choice/Modified Choice Case Management program including but not limited to intake, screening, researching and collecting information, supporting the implementation of care plans to promote effective utilization of healthcare services, and/or referring members to specialty programs as appropriate, such as Behavioral Health or Women’s Health programs. Performs intake of calls from members or providers regarding services via telephone, fax, EDI. Utilizes ASD/MedCompass and other Aetna systems to build, research and enter member information. Approve services that do not require a medical review in accordance with the benefit plan. Performs non-medical research including eligibility verification, COB, and benefits verification. Maintains accurate and complete documentation of required information that meets risk management, regulatory, and accreditation requirements

  Required Qualifications

  Familiarity with basic medical terminology and concepts used in care management. Support comprehensive coordination of medical services including Care Team intake, screening and supporting the implementation of care plans to promote effective utilization of healthcare services. Promotes/supports quality effectiveness of Healthcare Services.

  Effective communication, high volume telephonic and organization skills with attention to details.

  Sedentary work involving significant periods of sitting, talking, hearing and keying while on the phone. Work requires visual acuity to perform close inspection of written and computer generated documents,

  Utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, as well as a PC monitor.

  Working environment includes heavy multitasking, working independently with little to no distractions in a typical home office setting.

  Hours of operation are 5:00 AM-5:00 PM AZ time – we are looking for someone to fill the 8:30AM - 5:00PM Arizona Time

  High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent experience

  Pay Range

  The typical pay range for this role is:

  $18.50 - $35.29

  This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
