Monogram Biosciences, a wholly-owned subsidiary of LabCorp, is seeking a Calibration Instrumentation Technician to join its team South San Francisco, CA! The Calibration Instrumentation Technician manages and maintains Monogram's calibration program to support a regulated diagnostic laboratory specializing in proprietary therapy guidance applications. This position will be responsible for calibrating Monogram's instruments and working closely with external vendors and managing the workflow of outsourced calibrations.
The schedule for this position will be: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm or 7am-4pm.
Responsibilities:
Calibrate all instruments supporting production labs and production facilities, and/or coordinate with appropriate vendors. Maintain and monitor Instrument calibration reports in Monogram's calibration database as well as hardcopy equipment files.Complete and document preventative maintenance of in-house Dispensers.Complete calibration documentation for new and returning equipment to ensure regulatory compliance. Assist in Equipment Qualifications as needed.Support the Facilities Team in calibration, troubleshooting, and repair.Interact frequently with engineers, scientists, and production staff.Must be able to organize and complete all assigned work by the scheduled due date.
Job Requirements:
Associates degree or Bachelor's degree in a relevant major such as engineering with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience with electronics and/or lab equipment ORHS Diploma or GED equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with electronics and/or lab equipmentAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and specificationsStrong organizational ability preferredMust have good oral and written communication skillsWilling to participate in on-call service during off-hours/weekend
Pay Range: $35.00-42.00/hour
