Business Process Excellence Sr. Specialist

About the Role:
This is a specialist role within BPE, responsible for driving value to Novartis through scoping, shaping, leading, and delivering a business process excellence project in a business unit or program. The project work is likely to include the mapping of processes, identifying improvements, designing and deploying solutions and sustaining and measuring improvements.
The role is responsible for working with a team supporting a specific global process or a workstream in a program, partnering with BPE unit champions and DDIT automation teams. It is an opportunity to make a significant difference to our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work as part of a team on a BPE initiative in a business unit or program.
• Responsible to deliver personally on projects, through direct involvement and supervision.
• Lead junior BPE associates and act as coach of new / existing team members.
• Build expertise in specific business units / programs
• Responsible to Support GPOs and GSOs to optimize and evolve their activities.
• Work with DDIT colleagues to identify and implement automation opportunities.
• Build BPE capabilities in the business units through the BPE projects.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and job shadowing

Role Requirements
Essential Requirements
• Master's degree with >7 years' experience leading significant business process, organizational change, operating model and/or process improvement consulting projects.
• Senior manager level experience in a consulting organization.
• Must have worked in consulting teams in an equivalent internal consulting organization or a major consulting company.
• Proven experience of working successfully in a collaborative team environment across different cultures, operating with and influencing others to achieve a common objective.
Desirable Requirements:
• Lean & Six Sigma Certification (Master Black Belt).
• Experience of regulated environments, particularly the impact in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience in the area of capability development or learning is a distinct advantage.
• Proficiency in Lean, quality management systems and operational excellence.
