AGI Data Services is a key part of AGI org providing data creation, curation, and analytics services to help develop, test, and train the AI models. This organization generates ground truth data which is used to train machine learning models. The team works with various data formats such as audio, video, and images, and packages this information to be used by internal stakeholders (e.g., data modeling and product teams).
Key job responsibilities
As a Business Intelligence Manager, you will generate insights that will guide feedback to operators and business strategy decisions. Data analysis is at the core Amazon’s culture, and your work will have a direct impact on decision-making and strategy for our organization. You will be gathering operational insights, running statistical analysis, mining data, making recommendations, visualizing data, and helping senior leaders make key business decisions.

A day in the life
• Design, develop, and maintain scaled, automated, user-friendly systems, statistical analysis and prediction, reports, dashboards, etc. that will support the needs of the business
• Apply deep analytic and business intelligence skills to extract meaningful insights and learning from large and complicated data sets
• Be hands-on with ETL to build data pipelines to support automated reporting
• Serve as liaison between the business and technical teams to achieve the goal of providing actionable insights into current business performance, and ad hoc investigations to support future improvements or innovations. This will require data gathering and manipulation, problem solving, and communication of insights and recommendations
• Build various data visualizations to tell the story of business trends, patterns, and outliers through rich visualizations
• Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation

Basic Qualifications
Design, develop, and maintain scaled, automated, user-friendly systems, statistical analysis and prediction, reports, dashboards, etc. that will support the needs of the business

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with AWS Tools and Technologies (Redshift, S3, EC2)
• 4+ years of working with very large data warehousing environment experience
• 10+ years of data warehouse technical architectures, data modeling, infrastructure components, ETL/ ELT and reporting/analytic tools and environments, data structures and hands-on SQL coding experience
• Good project management skills
• Strong judgment and instincts and able to prioritize in complex, fast-paced environment
• Strong people management skills and ability to lead by example
• Ability to adapt to dynamic project requirements
• High level of energy and proactive nature. A sense of ownership and drive and a willingness to accept the challenge of daily deadlines is essential
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
