About this role:
Wells Fargo Supply Chain Management (SCM) in the front line is currently seeking a Business Execution Director to play a critical role in supporting SCM's Third Party Operations. This role will design, implement, and execute and initiatives that support all business verticals within SCM. This includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations with a strong focus on timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues.
A key differentiator will be the ability to understand and operate successfully in a complex environment. The role requires a sense of urgency, passion for results, and personal accountability for achievement while having the ability to make timely and difficult decisions. Reporting to the TPO Head, this role will be a key contributor to the strategy for how key initiatives are managed across the Enterprise.
Candidate will be a proven self-starter with the capability of driving results independently while managing a team. They will communicate professionally and effectively with various levels within the organization, providing relevant details and drive business results. In addition, a successful candidate will be highly organized with the ability to manage multiple work efforts, prioritizing effectively across competing tasks and deliverables.
In this role, you will:Provide leadership to drive performance and initiatives, and develop and implement information delivery or presentations to key stakeholders and senior managementLead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges related to Business Execution that require solid analytical skills, extensive knowledge of Business Execution, and understanding of business, delivering longer term and large scale solutionsProvide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership for implementing innovative and significant business solutions that are large scale and cross organizationalLead team meetings or steering committee to facilitate decision making and support implementation of recommendations and plansStrategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across multiple lines of businesses and serve as an experienced advisor to the leadershipProvide direction to a cross functional team using business expertiseRequired Qualifications, US:8+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, including Management experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education4+ years of management experienceDesired Qualifications:5+ years of third party risk experience in financial servicesSignificant interaction experience with regulatory agencies Subject Matter Expertise in banking regulations related to third parties and outsourcing Driving and coordinating information sharing and response strategy development with overlapping risk partnersDeveloping communication and training materialExperience with Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA)Ariba experienceAbility to translate reporting and quality assurance results into complex analysis, designs and recommendations. Uses analysis to identify execution concerns and escalations and validate control deficienciesAbility to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment Outstanding problem-solving skills Ability to interact with all levels of an organizationStrong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills Ability to identify key issues, involve affected parties, design solutions, obtain buy-in, and communicate effectively through resolutionSourcing, vendor management or third-party risk experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to senior and executive management and ability to articulate key messages around risk, issues, customer impacts, etc.Proven and demonstrated leadership skills including relationship building, partnering and collaboration skills with clear ability to influence, gain buy-in and negotiate with a diverse group of key business partners/stakeholders including senior managementJob Expectations:Ability to travel up to 25%Candidate must be based in posted location and be willing to work a hybrid schedule of three days in office and two days from home.This position is not Visa eligible.
