In this position...
The Integrated Services Business Office is looking for a Business Content Manager, who will partner with a variety of stakeholders to lead and support a variety of internal (and some external) presentations and communications for the organization and President of Integrated Services.
Reporting to the Chief of Staff, this role will function as the glue between the Business Office, Communications, Design, and Strategy functions on Ford's Integrated Services team. At the core of a tight team, you'll have a hand in most of Integrated Services key moments. Build and influence content for President's presentations, corporate materials, reports, in-office digital assets, town halls, one-pagers, energy room, events, Slack, and much more. Work cross-functionally to write, build, design, and maintain presentation materials for internal and external audiences. You'll have some visual design support. Own complex, high-stakes, dynamic, and confidential leadership presentations, and other materials. Create and maintain an Integrated Services document library, standardizing naming, storage, and leading version control.
RESPONSIBILITIES
What you'll do...
Develop and curate materials for a key area of new business at Ford. Work closely with the Integrated Services Chief of Staff, President, Communications, Strategy, Design, and Leadership to create seamless products. Work closely with above-noted stakeholders to define messaging and seamlessly execute. Promote thought-leadership through developing high-quality and easy-to-understand content. Partner with Communications, Strategy and Business Leads to capture speaker notes that make it easy to deliver a natural presentation. Drive high-impact presentations by thinking through not just the message but also the medium. Attend key events with the President to assist with presentations and ensure all A/V and technical requirements are addressed. Develop ways of surveying audiences to ensure presentations were understood and appreciated, and to continuously improve based on feedback. Disseminate materials across the organization-wide communication channels, as needed. Champion a strategy and execute a plan for content management. Drive small group facilitation and discussion to develop principles and standardization for content. Proactively identify opportunities to help enhance or dilute messaging. Support the Business to capture the right journey and experience for the right customers and stakeholders. Act as a project manager and partner with different stakeholders across functions to align needs and ensure on-time delivery. Manage and maintain an Integrated Services Content Resource Library, including logos, talking points, materials, shortcuts, and much more. Periodically lead or support special projects, as needed. Foster, lead, and communicate a culture of Excellence, Focus, and Collaboration.
QUALIFICATIONS
You'll have...
Bachelor's Degree 8+ years of experience in design, communications, operations, human resources or related 4+ years of experience in leadership role Adept at developing simple presentation materials along with speaker notes/guides that make it easy to deliver a natural presentation. Excellent writing and editing skills, with meticulous eye for presentations and design Excellent PowerPoint skills Keen attention to detail Ability to work closely with Executive Leadership and their teams Strong interpersonal skills collaborating with all levels of the organization Outstanding organizational and time management skills Ability to work in a very fast paced environment and deliver within short deadlines, at times outside of regular working hours Demonstrated effectiveness working within complex organizations and meeting deliverables Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively lead and interact with diverse disciplines and levels across the organization
