Kforce has a client in Fort Washington, PA that is seeking a Business Analyst.Responsibilities: Leads requirements analysis with business and technical stakeholders Applies analytical skills to clarify and understand business needs and requirements and interprets them into functional specifications Responsible for gathering, compiling and synthesizing information regarding system functionality and flow Act as primary point of contact for the team during development to clarify business requirements, resolve issues, and make recommendations as business impacts arise Deliver a range of artifacts supporting application functional analysis and design including current and future target state process flows, user stories, functional and technical specifications, dependency maps, and requirements traceability Analyzes and decomposes functional specifications into appropriately sized user stories Reviews user stories with stakeholders and obtains approval to proceed Works with Product Management to refine and prioritize backlog and drive understanding of information and process requirements Collaborate with developers, product managers, and subject matter experts to communicate the proposed solution vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs Develop solutions to complex problems, requiring the regular use of ingenuity and creativity, within the larger context of the business needs and objectives Coordinates defects clarification, triages and coordinates resolution by software engineering team Practical knowledge of Agile principles and ability to lead SCRUM ceremonies
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Business, Economics or related field a plus Proficiency in defining business problems and proposing solutions Mortgage Industry knowledge with experience in originations process Experience working in Agile methodology Expert skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to utilize the following functions: V-Lookup, H-Lookup, Concatenating formulas, Conditional formatting, and Pivot Tables Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Must be proactive and solutions-oriented business professional with the ability to interface with all levels of management across business units and functions Past experience in any Loan Origination System (LOS) will be plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
