  JOB DESCRIPTION

  About the Role.

  We are seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our team as a Brand Copywriter. As a Brand Copywriter, you will be responsible for crafting compelling, brand-focused messaging and copy that enhances the brand identity of our brands. You will work closely with the creative team and other key stakeholders to develop messaging strategies, write copy that aligns with our brand positioning, and generate new ideas that will help drive brand awareness and engagement.

  This role will be based out of Dearborn, MI.

  RESPONSIBILITIES

  Responsibilities:

  Brand Voice Development: Develop and maintain the brand(s) voice and tone guidelines that reflect the brand's personality, values, and positioning. Copywriting: Craft copy that resonates with the target audience, communicates the brand message, and aligns with design and marketing objectives.Brand Messaging: Create and refine brand messaging that communicates the unique value proposition, key benefits, and differentiators of the brand. Develop compelling and persuasive copy that conveys the brand story, positioning, and personality in a concise and impactful manner.Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit copy for grammar, punctuation, spelling, style, and tone to ensure accuracy and consistency. Proofread all written content to identify and correct errors, inconsistencies, and inaccuracies. Ensure that all copy aligns with the brand voice, tone, and messaging guidelines.Brand Compliance: Ensure that all written content adheres to the brand guidelines and complies with legal, ethical, and regulatory requirements. Protect and maintain the integrity of the brand identity by ensuring that all copy accurately represents the brand positioning, values, and messaging.Market Research: Stay updated with industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities. Creative Thinking: Apply creative thinking and problem-solving skills to develop innovative and impactful copy that resonates with the target audience and helps achieve design and marketing objectives. Find creative solutions to effectively communicate complex concepts or ideas in a clear and compelling manner.

  QUALIFICATIONS

  Minimum Qualifications:

  Bachelor's degree in creative writing, English, marketing, or a related field3+ years of experience as a brand and/or UX copywriter, with a focus on brand messaging and content creation 3+ years of experience applying brand strategy and experience developing messaging that resonates with target audiences

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skillsAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Strong organizational and project management skills
