Monday - Thursday: 6:00am - 3:30pm
Friday: 6:00am - 10:00am
Job Description: Will be responsible for assembly of stairs then moving throughout the facility.
Job Duties:
Clamping the stair
Glueing and hammering in wedges
Nailing and screwing the riser into the back of the tread
Match the appropriate parts to the stringers
Remove stair from assembly table and move it to the punch out table
Quality control by looking for any nail blow-outs, screw blow-outs, and making sure everything is properly seated and secured
Cut and install scotia and wrap stairs as needed
Stage stairs on skids for the loading department
Will be cross trained in various sub-departments as needed
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Prior wood working or carpentry experience is preferred but not required.
