JOB REQUIREMENTS: As a Bookbinder is a part of our production team thatexpertly translates production requirements into visually appealing andfunctional products. You will maintain a high level of quality, operate,and control a bindery stitcher or perfect binder safely, fulfillingproduction requirements while following proper procedural guidelines.You have the responsibility and authority to direct all activities ofTechnicians assigned to the machine for the day, including job dutyreview, training of new employees, and ensuring that all jobrequirements are met. WHAT YOU\'LL DO ON THE A-TEAM: Sets up andcontrols the assigned machine for each job specified. Maintains machinesregular maintenance, keeps machine ready to run product, and ensures aclean and neat work area. Checks and controls quality of product on arunning basis. Manages and directs the Technicians pertaining to usingthe proper material to maintain a high level of productivity. Runs themachine at the optimal production speeds relating to the specified goalsset by the Bindery Manager or Supervisor. Seeks assistance whennecessary to solve setup and running problems that may be causing slowerproduction speeds. Provides feedback to management and supervision whenslowdowns or issues occur on machines. Participates in regularevaluations of Technicians as needed. Performs all special dutiesassigned by the Bindery Manager and/or Supervisor. Performs all dutiessafely and in accordance with all safety rules and requirements.Maintains a positive customer relations approach towards visitors,customers, and employees. Ability toutilize logic and conceptual thinking skills. Strong mechanicalaptitude. Requires the ability to provide effective and clear writtenand oral communication. Must be willing to work weekends, overtime, orbe responsive to manufacturing questions as needed. Proficient inMicrosoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
