Job Description
A semitruck company in Lacey, WA is seeking three Body Shop Repair Technicians to join its new paint and body repair shop. The Technicians will be responsible for providing full-service pre and post-repair, paint and body work for customers' semitruck equipment. Additional responsibilities include:
Identify and determine parts required for repair; review repair orders, work order, and Estimator's notes
Follow warranty guidelines; notify Supervisor or Estimator of any repair add-ons.
Adjust, replace, and repair all series of truck and trailer equipment (e.g., sheet metal repairs, fiberglass/SMC panel repairs, fabrication and structural welding, installation and alignment of truck cab body components, electrical and mechanical repairs, etc.).
Skills and Requirements
3 years' experience with and proficiency in use of all tools of trade (welding equipment, plasma cutters, drills, sanders, die-grinders, impact wrenches, and jacks)
Must have own hand tools
Strong knowledge of medium and heavy duty trucks and equipment - Associates degree and/or formal education and training in collision repair & refinishing null
