Position Overview
TheAP/AR Supervisorensures timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers and maintains accurate records and control reports. Manages all activities in the accounts payable/receivable function. Being anAP/AR Supervisorrecommends improvements to accounts payable/receivable processes. Manages collection activities such as sending follow-up inquiries, negotiating with past due accounts, and referring accounts to collection agencies. TheAP/AR Supervisormanages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.
Essential Duties:
Lead the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable team to deliver results driving best in class accuracy and best in class customer serviceStandardize regional A/P, A/R, and credit processes to drive consistency across organizationStreamline rent and rent related payables to drive consistency throughout organizationCoach and provide training and work direction to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable team membersAssist with both the internal (GRC) and external audits of the accounts payable and accounts receivable operationsMonitor progress of the KPIs related to processing of invoices and outbound payments and the monitoring progress of the KPIs related to outbound invoices and inbound payment to consistently meet or exceed agreed upon service levelsMonitor the collection, validation and archiving of required tax exemption certificatesEnsure timely cash payment to supplier accounts, such that discount taking is maximized and late fees are minimizedEvaluate and establish credit scoring for customersEnsure appropriate financial and business compliance throughout the Credit and Collections processCollaborate with various stakeholders to ensure global alignment of prioritiesDrive adoption of global process standards and gain buy-in from key stakeholdersReports key data and metrics relating to delinquency, efficiency, charge off, decision turnaround time and other related metricsDirects the hiring, training, and performance management for staffProvide insights into shaping policies related to key process and institute process improvements to drive improved adherence to policiesOther duties as assigned.Additional Information
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Work hours are 8-5 Monday - Friday. Saturday and evenings as needed.Office environment; Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Occasionally lift up to 15 lbs.Why you should apply:

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:Must be 18 years or older.High school degree.Five (5) years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Purchasing or related disciplineProficient in Microsoft office suite: Excel, PowerPoint, etc.Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with retail store/plant staff and corporate/global accounting and finance staff.Good analytical skills required.Ability to work independentlyLegal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
