  Job Description

  The ideal candidate will possess the innovation, insight, commercial acumen and broad market perspective to provide corporate strategy leadership and expertise for our company. Compelling candidates will have top-tier strategic consulting experience, well-rounded capabilities as well as pharmaceutical industry experience. Commercial, Marketing and Market Access experience are particularly valuable for this role. Role is in-person most days, located in Rahway NJ is preferred, candidates from Upper Gwynedd, PA will be considered.

  Primary Responsibilities:

  Drive the identification, evaluation and recommendation of key, strategic business decisions

  Work with senior leaders Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Executive Team (ET) and ET-1) to identify key business decisions and postulate testable and tangible hypotheses based on previous experienceAccess external networks to access industry (Subject Matter Experts) (SMEs (e.g., industry experts, consultants, investors in private equity or venture, boards) in order to inform strategic decision makingUse existing and/or develop novel strategic frameworks to lay out potential options, evaluate implications and conduct 'what you need to believe' or similar analyses to drive to a final recommendationBuild and drive a case for change, considering stakeholders ranging from board members, executive team, and divisional leadershipEnsure the creation of a plan that will lead to tangible and measurable business results

  Drive cross-functional engagement in support of the enterprise strategy

  Serve as an objective facilitator for hard-to-make decisions with multiple competing interestsTake leadership of key enterprise priorities or initiatives that require substantial cross-divisional collaboration, negotiation, and compromiseChallenge closely held beliefs across the organization through respectful opposition and contrarian thinking to senior leadersEnsure that our company reaches the best solution to business problem in the end, and effectively executes

  Ideal Experience:

  Life Sciences Industry experience, technical knowledge and educational background

  5+ years of experience at a top tier (MBB) management consulting firm, with significant case experience in pharma commercial and/or marketing, consulting at CEO/ET levelIn addition, case experience in areas such as payer/provider, healthcare delivery, and data and digital would also be valuable but not strictly necessary2+ years of pharmaceutical company experience in strategy or delivery role in commercial or marketing

  Team Leadership Experience

  A proven track record of leading and building high-performance teams.Experience managing cross-functional teams and working collaboratively, both cross-functionally and globally, with Research and Development (R&D), Commercial, Legal and Finance, etc.Demonstrated success in developing people, building teams and businesses at a leading comparable consulting firm or in industry.

  Broad Professional Network

  Excellent networking skills. Comfortable forming relationships in the wide-ranging healthcare ecosystem (payer, medical technology) to bring an "outside in" perspective to the organization.

  Education:

  Required: Bachelor's DegreePreferred: Master's Degree, Medical Degree or PhD.

  U.S. Hybrid Work Model

  Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, generally Tuesday, Wednesday and either Monday or Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence. This Hybrid work model does not apply to, and daily in-person attendance is required for, field-based positions; facility-based, manufacturing-based, or research-based positions where the work to be performed is located at a Company site; positions covered by a collective-bargaining agreement (unless the agreement provides for hybrid work); or any other position for which the Company has determined the job requirements cannot be reasonably met working remotely. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate's relevant skills, experience, and education.

  Expected salary range:

  $285,920.00 - $450,000.00
