Our facilities are located in the Rochester Technology Campus in Rochester Minnesota, home of the world-renowned Mayo Clinic.
Key Responsibilities
* Organizes and conducts routine and non-routine ligand-binding assays, such as ELISA, Luminex, and Flow Cytometry sample preparation in compliance with applicable methods, protocols, SOPs, and regulatory agency guidelines.
* Plans and performs controlled analytical testing on various types of biological samples (nonclinical, preclinical, and clinical matrices).
* Documents work and maintains study documentation and laboratory records.
* Learns to set up, operate, and perform routine and non-routine maintenance on general equipment and so maintain it in compliance with GLP and SOP requirements.
* Under instruction can perform assist with assay method development, qualification, and validation activities.
Skills and Requirements
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Life sciences, Molecular biology, Biochemistry, Biology or related field.
* Minimum two years laboratory experience. Industry experience preferred.
* Possess a cursory knowledge of antibody chemistry including antibody titration, labeling, and appropriate controls to evaluate specificity.
* Ability to plan, organize and multi-task to complete assignments in an efficient manner.
* A sense of urgency, speed, persistence, and organization in a dynamic and exciting work environment. Valued Complementary Skills
Mammalian cell culture experience, Familiarity with various flow cytometry platforms, experience in cell-based assay, biostatistical analyses and general report creation, using Microsoft Office suite and GraphPad Prism. null
