  KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Meeting Services to join our Events and Meetings team on the Lakehouse team.

  Responsibilities:Liaise with planners and stakeholders by utilizing event related technology and platforms to plan and execute live, hybrid or virtual events with the expectation of varying scalability; create web sites and surveys in the event management tool (Cvent) that meet the objectives of the event and capture essential data to align with program goalsFacilitate program communications within Cvent and edit communications as required, including invites, reminders, confirmations, surveys, and other post event communicationsAct as primary contact to create and schedule standard and custom reports for the planner and stakeholder from pre to post event; support the ongoing verification of data integrity and reconciliation of data within CventCollaborate and manage deliverables and process improvements with other internal departments to support the facilitation of internal, learning, and external programsManage accommodations room blocks within Cvent, manage changes and special requests, review inventory (attrition and increases), and manage overflow hotel blocksCoordinate onsite responsibilities to include event registration, participant inquiries and issues, and room block issuesQualifications:Minimum two years of recent experience, preferably within a events and meetings team or professional services firmBachelor's degree from an accredited college/university preferred; or relevant work experienceStrong communication, problem solving, and organizational skills to support an environment driven by client focus, teamwork and building productive relationshipsProficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookCvent knowledge preferredAbility to travel up to 30% annually

Depending on job classification, standard work hours, and years of service, KPMG provides Personal Time Off per fiscal year. Additionally, each year the firm publishes a calendar of holidays to be observed during the year and provides two firmwide breaks each year where employees will not be required to use Personal Time Off; one is at year end and the other is around the July 4th holiday.
