What will you do:
Partner with Data Engineers & Software Developers to evaluate the technical trade-offs of tools to build simple, yet robust, data science pipelines.
Manage the development of data science product features.
Conduct research and develop product features under the direction of the Lead Data Scientist
Build data products to solve business problems in the energy industry.
Write well documented experiments and production-ready code.
Analyze and interpret functional requirements and/or data.
Conduct independent research.
Mentor junior team members.
Apply Machine Learning, Optimization, Deep Learning or Big Data techniques to solve real-world problems.
What you should have:
Bachelor’s degree from a three- or four-year college or university.
1-2 years relevant work experience
Experience with Agile methodologies
Understanding of data structures and algorithms
Experience with modern CI/CD
Experience with application/data development tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience coding in Python, R, Scala, or other relevant language
