About the Position:
The ideal candidate for this position will possess excellent customer service skills and serve as a technical resource to a large and growing personal lines underwriting/brokerage team. Successful applicants will work with the underwriting team to request and review underwriting information for processing quotes, reviewing eligibility of risks, handling approvals for endorsement changes and providing overall all customer service to our retail agents. This position will be heavy phone call volumes with the ability to navigate the files and provide a positive outcome for our customers. This position requires the individual to be available to handle phone calls in the range of 8am-5pm PST.
Responsibilities: Handle heavy call volume from retail agents and carriers ensuring highest level of customer service standards are met, bringing calls to a satisfactory resolution Preparation of quotes in carrier rating portals Process endorsements, bind orders and other documents according to established departmental procedures with accuracy, efficiency, and meeting compliance standards Other duties as assigned Qualifications: High School graduate required; College courses preferred Previous work experience in the fields of insurance, customer service, banking or similar, with a successful track record Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong organization skills, with a high level of detail orientation Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and various rating portals Disclosure required under applicable state or municipality regulations: The expected salary range for this position is $40,000-$45,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level.
