Description ECC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager forconstruction / DoD relatedprojects. This position can be filled at either theAssistant Project ManagerorProject Manager leveldepending on validated experience. Work may be in Hawaii, Guam or other areas in the Pacific Rim as well as the Continental United States. This position is primarily responsible for assisting the Senior Project Management Team to ensure that the goals of the project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. In this position, you will:
Assist the Sr. Project Manager / Deputy Program Manager in the planning and coordination of activities designated to ensure that goals or objectives of the project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parametersReview project proposals or plans to determine time frames, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements and allotment of available resources to various phases of projectEstablish / review work plans and staffing for each phase of project and arrange for recruitment or assignment of project personnelConfer with project staff and subcontractors to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities and scope of authorityDirect and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budgetReview cost status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as requiredPrepare project reports for management, client, or othersConfer with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problemsCoordinate project activities with activities of government regulatory or other governmental agenciesManage supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable lawsDevelop and Maintain Baseline Schedule per Regional Project Control Manager AcceptancePerform weekly and monthly schedule updates and develop as-built scheduleCoordinate with Project Manager to document physical percent completeCoordinate, Develop and update Long lead Materials Tracking and update schedule accordingly.Preparation of required reports for Client invoices.Coordinate, develop WBS dictionary with Project Accountant Manager.Prepare and submit revenue forecasts to Project Accountant.Coordinate, Develop format with Project Accountantfor information transfer on labor, equipment, materials, subcontracts and other direct costs for Estimate to Complete (ETC) projectionsCoordinate and update with Project Accountanton Monthly Cost reportsReview of subcontractor invoices prior to PM approval and submit to Project Accountant for payment processing.In addition to the accountabilities above, other responsibilities, tasks and deliverables may be assigned to the incumbent of this positionRequirements
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulationsAbility to write reports and business correspondenceAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general publicAbility to work with and apply mathematical conceptsAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusionsAbility to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variablesProven ability to implement programs to address complex needs and problemsCapable of communicating with persuasiveness and exercise effective negotiation techniques as neededCompetent in using Microsoft Office products, email systems, Windows, Outlook and TeamsThree years experience with scheduling and project planning for largeconstruction / DoD relatedprojectsThree years working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local environmental law regulations, and guidance as they apply to the region specified in the solicitationEducation:This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in engineering, construction management, geology, chemistry, or closely related discipline. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for this requirement.Travel: Must be able and willing to travel periodically, typically less than 50% depending on the needs of the company.Preferred Qualifications

ECC targeted salary range for the US average is $90,000 to $105,000.
Actual salary offered may be affected by education, training, certifications, experience, skills, level of responsibility, and location.
