　　In compliance with applicable State regulatory authorities, vaccination for COVID-19 and Influenza (flu) is mandatory for all MSK staff who do not work 100% remotely (including new hires ). Staff are considered fully vaccinated upon completion of a primary vaccination series for COVID-19 Exceptions from the COVID-19 vaccine requirement are permitted for those who request and receive an approved medical, religious, or fully remote exemption.  Requests for exemption can take up to two weeks to review. Vaccination or an approved medical exemption is required to start work.

　　Job Description

　　The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking an AP or AP/CP board-certified gastrointestinal pathologist at the rank of Assistant Attending Pathologist.  Fellowship training in Gastrointestinal Pathology is a requirement.  Applicants with independent sign-out experience are desired but not required. A strong interest in primary and collaborative research is expected, and applicants interested in laboratory-based research with a goal to establish competitive grant funding are also encouraged to apply. 

　　Candidates will be expected to provide diagnostic services in Gastrointestinal and Hepatopancreatobiliary Pathology, to engage in collaborative patient care and translational research with members of our world class gastrointestinal disease management teams, and to participate in our educational programs geared towards Oncologic Surgical Pathology, Gastrointestinal Pathology, and Gastrointestinal Oncology trainees.
