   Location: Singapore

  Travel approx.: 30% of the time

  MAIN JOB PURPOSE:

  Meat to please you! At the Vegetarian Butcher we're looking for new 'meat on the block' to join us in the biggest food revolution of all times.

  The plant-based market is growing rapidly! Consumers are increasingly looking for plant-based meat products while stepping away from normal meat products. Driven by this trend Unilever acquired The Vegetarian Butcher in December 2018. With this move, Unilever expanded its portfolio with sustainable plant-based foods that are healthier and have less impact on the environment!

  This category is instrumental in achieving the target that Unilever has publicly announced : "Unilever announced a 1BN Euros plant based sales goal to be achieved by 2027 in Nov 2020 and increased this target recently to 1.5BN Euros by 2025".

  The range of high-quality meat replacement products are the pride of The Vegetarian Butcher. The products are created "for meat lovers" and cannot be distinguished from real meat in terms of taste, texture and smell! Together with Unilever, The Vegetarian Butcher can realize its ambition to become the biggest butcher in the world!

  Since the acquisition of The Vegetarian Butcher by Unilever, the company is scaling-up fast. In this journey at exponential pace, we are looking for an entrepreneurial International Business Development Lead based in Singapore, who has the passion to change the world and disrupt the Asian markets!

  KEY JOBS TO BE DONE: Drive within the global team expansion of The Vegetarian Butcher Asia business across all channels focusing on regionally developing Food Service Customer Partnerships, QSR, and creating New Business Models (such as Delivery Meal Boxes, Virtual brands, etc.) and Licensing Partnerships.Build and execute a regional partnership strategy for the Vegetarian Butcher with major QSR players in the region.Drive & support on generating new leads to establish new regional partnerships.Internal and External senior Stakeholder management customer / partner relationships.Develop and support Key Strategic QSR customers & partners (product development, business planning and support).Develop key sales materials (e.g., financial proposals, slides, market analysis).Deliver presentations, pitch decks for new/key customer interactions.Driving and creation of new business models to deliver new customer partnerships.Identify research topics & conduct research to increase relevancy to partners.The roles of duties are not exhaustive and may change according to business requirements.

  KEY REQUIREMENTS: Minimum relevant professional experience of 4 years is required.Project management skills in a high pace environment.Analytical & structured thinker.Strong consumer and customer focus / strong at customer contact.Entrepreneurial mindset and eager to develop new customer leads and driving new sales partnerships.Good negotiator: able to influence, also in informal decision structures.A person that easily connects.Good communication skills (written & verbal) and fluency in English.Pro-active leadership mindset.Ability to work in a multi-functional, multi-cultural environment.In essence you're humble yet rebellious, entrepreneurial, energetic, and fun!You embrace change, are curious, learn rapidly and easily adapt your ways of working.
