　　About the role:

　　The Manager, R&D is able to manage multiple products. S/he should have professional qualifications with several years of work experience in product development and delivery and good stakeholder and people management/interpersonal skills . S/he is able to propose product development strategies, keeps abreast of technology, and manages delivery, quality, cost and recruitment of the project. Has the ability to independently evaluate, choose and implement processes.

　　Will be leading teams across multiple products with different stakeholders. Helps arrive at priorities for the team and establishes stakeholder alignment. Applies knowledge to practical issues often relating to more than one functional area across multiple products Provides overall direction for complex activities - providing guidance and inputs for a medium-sized project or multiple small-sized projects. Resolution of problems require analysis of facts and general principles. Responsible for the product delivery quality and customer satisfaction through cross-functional team engagement. Influences the right decisions and educates stakeholders to arrive at overall product priorities. Responsible for the competency and career growth of his/her team members and works with cross-functional teams to achieve this. Responsible for conducting appraisals, feedback to employees and handling work allocations and driving execution excellence. Ability to adapt to various communication styles and interpret non-routine and conflicting information. Knowledge of relevant policies and procedures, determines a course of action based on these guidelines. Good project and people management skills are required. Interacts with internal and/or external clients and customers to negotiate and interpret information on projects and unit operations. May consult with senior management. Ability to do Project Management, Resource Management, Customer Management, Estimation, Release Planning for multiple products.

　　Work Experience

　　Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; additional qualifications are helpful;. Typical range of experience is 10-15 years. Exposure in ERP domain for various industries is an added advantage. Exposure agile/Kanban processes is a good addition as well.
