As a member of the IT Governance, Risk & Compliance organization, the AI Risk Analyst IV (Senior AI Risk Analyst) is responsible for understanding and communicating artificial intelligence (AI) IT risks and mitigation strategies, governance best practices, and compliance requirements and aligning technology AI processes and actions with the organization’s business goals. This role works with departments across the organization to ensure IT AI governance requirements are properly identified, documented, and enforced. This role may facilitate relationships with external consultants and mentor junior analysts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with teams across the enterprise to educate, communicate, identify, document, and remediate AI IT governance, risk, and compliance issues.
Coordinate with legal (enterprise risk and privacy) to understand IT security- and AI-impacting legislation and product and application security teams to understand measures implement to ensure compliance.
Champion and manage IT Security AI programs, processes, and frameworks, documenting policies and procedures as well as risk assessments and management reviews.
Collaborate with and educate employees at all leadership levels to determine AI IT risk, governance, and compliance needs and implement recommendations, requirements, and controls.
Coordinate and execute IT security projects. Report results to leadership.
Monitor information security news for emerging threats, technologies, and regulations that could have an impact on the security of Paycom’s processes, systems, and applications.
Actively seek to expand individual skills through research, training, and collaboration with peers.
Maintain up-to-date detailed working knowledge of IT and AI risk and compliance standards and best practices.
Attend meetings and serve on committees, as requested.
Work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
Availability to respond to emergency situations.
Perform additional duties and assignments as requested.
Qualifications
Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s Degree in CS, Data Science, MIS, Cybersecurity, or related field
Industry Certification (CISSP, CRISC, Security+ etc.) highly preferred
Experience:
6+ years of combined IT risk management, IT data science, IT security, or IT regulatory compliance experience
AI experience required
Skills/Abilities:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Information security standards such as ISO 27001, PIPEDA, GDPR
Industry-specific information security best practices
Experience presenting IT security information to third parties
Data confidentiality regulations, strategies and best practices
Evaluate critical systems, prioritize workflow, and determine solutions
Perform risk assessments
Manage relationships with internal and external parties
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Interpret and explain laws, regulations and policies
Work for extended time at keyboard/terminal
Maintain effective working relationships with supervisor and coworkers
