The Advanced Service Engineer for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible to addresses customer’s concerns with urgency and respect to ensure the delivery of high-quality service. You will provide primary field service support and technical support to fellow distributor service engineers and inter-departmental parties within Singapore. This position is part of the Customer Support Team, located in Singapore and will be in hybrid work mode.
You will be a part of the Service Team and report to the Customer Support Manager, SEA. You will be responsible for various service tasks and assignments and assist the team in increasing service revenue and reducing service costs. You will manage Total Lab automation installation projects and communicate effectively with the various team members across shifts to provide customer-centric service support. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Delivery quality service to fulfil the internal target assigned.
Attend service calls to conduct instrument installation, corrective maintenance, preventative maintenance, modifications, upgrades, inspections, safety tests, check-ups, and various field service-related activities.
Provide remote support via IT tools and on rotation standby to support 24/7 service support.
Manage on-hand inventories on a cost-efficient level; Monitor and track the on-hand inventory to achieve zero discrepancies.
Provide timely updates to Service Admin about the daily service calls and task arrangements to ensure effective manpower management.
Follow the quality and safety requirements while performing service tasks.
Provide excellent customer service, listening carefully to customer challenges and addressing their situation/issues until the customer requests are fulfilled.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Degree or equivalent in Engineering.
Min 10 years of relevant hands-on experience in field service, handling haematology diagnostics devices.
Be comfortable on 24-hours standby on a rotating basis.
