What Your Job Will Be Like:
Organization 03734, Health Care & Medical Clinic Operations, is currently seeking an Administrative Support to support the team in Employee Health Services!
The selected candidate will provide professional administrative support for Employee Health and Well Being clinics, projects, and activities.
On any given day, one may be called upon to:
Answer and document high volumes of incoming callsUtilize health records scheduling systems and Microsoft outlook to schedule patient appointmentsCheck in/out patients for appointmentsCoordinate patient encounters by performing activities related to patient registration (e.g., insurance verifications, explanation of documents that require patient signatures, and accuracy of data capture for encounters)Collect and organize information required to perform assigned workAddress and manage complaints and conflict utilizing the help of a supervisor when neededFormulate complete and accurate telephone encounter messages in Employee Health RecordsDeliver high quality customer service and patient confidentialityCoordinate and communicate in a professional manner with other services and departmentsProvide timely communications and updates to applicable customers on changes to provider schedulesAttend and participate in meetings and trainingsFollow Employee Health Services' operational procedures & training processes
Due to the nature of the work, the selected applicant must be able to work onsite 100% of the time.
Qualifications We Require:
A High School diploma, plus 3 years in general administrative services or a relevant field; or equivalent experience and/or achievements that demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties of the jobThe ability to acquire and maintain a DOE L-level security clearance

NNSA Requirements for MedPEDs:
If you have a Medical Portable Electronic Device (MedPED), such as a pacemaker, defibrillator, drug-releasing pump, hearing aids, or diagnostic equipment and other equipment for measuring, monitoring, and recording body functions such as heartbeat and brain waves, if employed by Sandia National Laboratories you may be required to comply with NNSA security requirements for MedPEDs.
If you have a MedPED and you are selected for an on-site interview at Sandia National Laboratories, there may be additional steps necessary to ensure compliance with NNSA security requirements prior to the interview date.
Position Information:
This Limited Term Employee (LTE) position is a temporary position for one year term, which may be renewed at Sandia's discretion up to a maximum of seven years.
Individuals in LTE positions may bid on regular Sandia positions as internal candidates, and in some cases may be converted to regular career positions during their term if warranted by ongoing operational needs, continuing availability of funds, and satisfactory job performance.
Salary Range:
$37,300 - $67,300
*Salary range is estimated, and actual salary will be determined after consideration of the selected candidate's experience and qualifications, and application of any approved geographic salary differential.
