Essential Job Functions
Diversified confidential administrative/secretarial duties for Transplant Administrative staff
Supports and assists pre-transplant clinical staff in day to day operations
Serve as liaison/receptionist for patients and families
Manages information and communication from referring dialysis units and physicians
Coordinates aspects of the transplant referral process including patient intake, entering confidential patient information into database system, and scheduling evaluation appointments
May assist SW staff with Patient Assistance Programs
May assist Outreach Coordinator with Division programs and outreach initiatives
Provides coverage to other areas of the Division as necessary
Job Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required;College degree preferred
Office/Administrative experience in medical setting preferred
Ability to use a personal computer, calculator and standard office machines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Clerical perception, motor coordination and manual dexterity
Must be able to maintain confidentiality and professional demeanor at all times
