Administrative Assistant - OPCL
Position Description
CGI Federal is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide support to OPCL, a Division of DOJ in Washington DC.
Your future duties and responsibilities
• Analyze and route correspondence to the correct OPCL/DPRC staff, ensure timely responses to inquiries and complaints, prepare written correspondence from OPCL/DPRC to Department components, Congress, OMB or other agencies.
• Manage and handle phone calls from the public, OPCL/DPRC, and external staff members by communicating with clarity and professionalism.
• Handle on-boarding and off-boarding activities for OPCL/DPRC personnel, preparing onboarding binders, and arranging for network computer access and personnel badges.
• Review and correct written material for grammar, spelling, punctuation and consistency, and conduct legal research.
• Upload, revise, remove information onto OPCL/DPRC's public website, intranet site, and SharePoint site.
• Conduct facilities management tasks, including coordination of furniture, repair requests and office space maintenance. Assist OPCL personnel in managing and maintaining supply room, library, and file room general upkeep.
• As needed, support OPCL/DPRC staff in preparing, executing, and implementing training programs for the Department.
• Coordinate OPCL/DPRC leadership meetings, schedules, and monitor assigned email correspondence.
• Perform duties as OPCL/DPRC Travel Specialist by assisting personnel with their travel arrangements.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Must be able to successfully pass a CGI Federal background investigation

Must be able to obtain/maintain a DOJ MRPT clearance
Hourly Rate: $38.21/hour (non-negotiable)
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors including but not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
