Duties:We are seeking a Banker Assistant, 2 years experience, based in the Global Banking and Markets Division of Client. As an Assistant you will be responsible for providing extensive administrative support to 20+ Bankers at Analyst, Associate and Junior Vice President level. This role works within a team of assistants supporting various groups within the Division. The Junior Assistant will be provided with full training and ongoing support.
However, there is an expectation that the successful candidate will learn quickly and become self-sufficient after training and experience on the job, and then if strong performance permits, move into a more role to support more senior bankers. This is a demanding and fast paced Junior role which requires support from a highly competent, proactive, self-motivated, and organized individual.
The duties of the role include, but are not limited to:* Extensive calendar management for bankers Coordinating and scheduling of meetings and conference calls across multiple time zones.* Managing high volume of phone calls and emails, relaying information in a timely manner* Coordinating room bookings for internal/external meetings and VCs/Zooms across multiple locations.
Coordinating travel arrangements for the team, including:* Visa applications* International flight and accommodation bookings Car bookings Expense management and preparation Taking on ad hoc tasks while maintaining workflow Supporting teams in day to day issues, needs and queries Providing phone / vacation coverage for colleagues
Skills:* A strong candidate should be able to demonstrate the following skills:* Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills.* Able to prioritize a variety of time-sensitive tasks.* Demonstrates dependability and high attention to detail along with the ability to multi-task.* Displays a consistent, professional degree of communication skills in person, on phone and by e-mail to various levels.* Comfortable working with people at all organizational levels, internally and externally.* Must be a team player that works well under pressure within a changing environment.* Flexible and adaptable to work and support across multiple teams.* Be resourceful and able to use own initiative in solving issues.* Proactive attitude when managing diaries.* Discretion to deal with confidential business matters.* Friendly and approachable with a "can do" attitude.
Education:* Bachelor's Degree Preferred* H.S Diploma
