Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join a dynamic team as a Temporary Accounts Receivable Specialist. This position will play a key role in supporting the accounting department during a temporary period, focusing on maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments.
Responsibilities:
Generate and send accurate and timely invoices to clients.
Follow up on outstanding receivables and facilitate timely collection of payments.
Reconcile customer accounts and address any discrepancies.
Assist in resolving billing issues in collaboration with internal departments.
Process payments and allocate them to the appropriate customer accounts.
Monitor and analyze customer payment trends.
Prepare and maintain aging reports.
Communicate effectively with clients to address inquiries and resolve payment issues.
Support month-end closing processes related to accounts receivable.
Requirements
Requirements:
Proven experience in an Accounts Receivable role or similar position.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
