This position is responsible for managing the collection of accounts receivable, resolving AR disputes, and making credit risk decisions for an assigned portfolio of customer accounts. CFS Rep manages, maintains, and drives forward resolution, internally and externally, of disputed balances, monitors and tracks project deadlines, such as last shipment, to ensure preservation of bond and lien rights, and assists in purchase order term and condition review as well as gathers required documentation for project acceptance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Analyze customer accounts receivable to maximize cash flow, minimize delinquency and exposure to bad debt, and sales concessions.Contact customers in assigned portfolio to collect balances due / past due. Reconcile customer disputed balances; may include some local travel to visit customers.Review order hold reports and make decisions to release orders as customer reach and exceed credit limits. Make decisions to adjust credit limits within Scope of Authority or recommend credit limit changes to supervisor/manager based on credit worthiness of customer.Liaise with Sales' to resolve customer AR disputes.Adheres to process workflows for collection management. Effectively utilizes company software (credit and collection management modules of ERP system, Google Workspace, MS Office products)Ensures that all activities occur in a timely, accurate, customer service oriented manner and in accordance to Company policiesAbility to facilitate proper, professional & diplomatic verbal & written Customer communications (internal & external)Detailed, results oriented & organized problem solver that can work both individually and as a key member of the Team.
