　　We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join the Controllers Group as an Accounting Manager with a focus on project execution. You will execute on high priority projects for the company in support of our strategy and vision. Your responsibilities will be linked to the planning, coordination and implementation of changes across our Accounting Systems. The accuracy of these systems is essential to reporting correct financial information to our executives, regulators, and investors. Throughout this project, you will have the ability to understand our current and future systems along with upstream and downstream processes that will impact these systems including line of business dependencies.

　　Primary Responsibilities:

　　Understand financial system value streamGather and document requirements related to system configuration changesAdminister system configuration changesParticipate in peer review meetings to ensure adherence to best practices and standardsRecommend changes or modifications to the existing processes and standardsMaintain up-to-date understanding of processes that impact GL (PeopleSoft General Ledger) and TrinTech Reconciliation platforms . This includes activities, risks and issues, assumptions and dependenciesAgile performer duties and responsibilities required by Capital One

　　Basic Qualifications:

　　Bachelor's Degree or military experienceAt least 5 years experience in Accounting, Financial Services Industry or a combinationAt least 2 years of Financial System experience

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　Experience with PeopleSoft Financial System or another large financial system such as Workday or OracleExperience with Frontier, TrinTech or other automated reconciliation systemsExperience working on projects using an Agile framework, preferably Scrum or KanbanExperience using JiraExperience with Birst or Tableau1+ years' experience in an Agile EnvironmentBasic knowledge of Amazon Web ServicesBasic knowledge of or experience using SQLDemonstrated ability to automate manual processesDemonstrated ability to maintain effectiveness in constantly changing environmentAbility to apply integrative thinking in complex situations, identify issues and propose solutionsAnalytical skills with a demonstrated ability to integrate information from different sources to solve problems and improve processesProficiency in Microsoft Excel
