PositionOverview
Asa member of the World Trade Technology Solutions Sales Organization (TSS), youwill be responsible for development and execution of the strategy to achievespecific business targets and strategic objectives for Custom IC Verification products (Custom IC SPICE and mixed signal circuit simulation,AMS simulation environment, Variation analysis, Library Characterization &IP Validation) within the San Francisco bay area
ThisATM will also need to drive the priorities of all product line opportunities inthe territory and provide a clear prioritization for resource allocation to thefield technical resource management and product division. This person will thusbe responsible for maintaining up-to-date data for tracking engagementsincluding sales stage, progress against plan, action items, risks, andprioritization. As part of this role, the ATM is responsible for defining thetechnical account plans and campaigns necessary to achieve the initial win, proliferation,and strategic development partnerships with customers in the territory. Thisperson will work closely with the Account Manager to develop this plan and theAccount Manager must ultimately approve this plan. In this role the ATM willwork closely with the Field Application engineers to ensure that technicalissues are resolved and escalate critical issues to the Product Engineering,Product Specialist, Product Management and R&D teams as needed.
Responsibilitiesinclude, but are not limited to the following activities:
Develop the overall product strategy along with the Fieldtechnical management to achieve business targets and strategic objectives.Business targets and strategic objectives are defined by sales management inconjunction with the product division. The strategy to achieve those businesstargets requires the construction of a top-down and bottom-up plan account byaccount within a territory (including calling out strategy to captureunidentified business in that territory). Define technical account engagement plans and campaigns necessaryto achieve the results. The strategy and plans for each account must beapproved by the Account Manager. Lead and manage the account campaigns for the specific productline. Ensure understanding of all elements of any technical campaign -decision process, success criteria, committed usage upon success, run rateimpact, AE resources required and, of course, solving the customer's problem. Establish regular meetings with specific customer management tosupport successful campaigns. Align with account team on business opportunities and build up theengagement tracking mechanism to ensure ability to summarize data andcommunicate progress vs plan across multiple accounts effectively. Define, track, and report the priorities for all engagements atevery stage and communicate closely with technical management helping toprioritize engagements and short vs. long-term objectives. Build strong customer relationships to enable establishment ofstrategic relationships for Mentor in product / technology. Serve as the key field resource to summarize competitive threatsand opportunities.
JobQualifications
• BSEE, BSCE or BSCS Degree or equivalent, MS preferred.
• 7+ years of related experience.
• Product, market, and industry knowledge of Analog & Mixed-SignalIC design.
• Strong technical knowledge and experience in Analog &Mixed-Signal IC design.
• Understanding of Custom design flows as Virtuoso, Custom compiler,Tanner and circuit simulation software and experience using any of the circuitsimulators such as AFS, Eldo, Spectre, Hspice, CustomSim-XA, PrimeSim or othercircuit simulators
• Knowledge of Variation analysis and/or Library Characterizationtools is a plus.
• Strong prospecting, uncovering, demand creation, and negotiationskills.
• Experience creating and maintaining technical campaigns.
• Ability to set appropriate expectations and decision criteria.
• Guide technical campaigns to successful closure.
• Comfortable delivering customer presentations.
• Understandingof Finance.
• 35% travelrequired
• The total cash compensation range for this position is $135,700 to $271,400 with 30% of this being comprised of an annual incentive target. If you reside in the Bay Area the total cashcompensation range for this position is $155,700 to $295,800 with 30% of this beingcomprised of an annual incentive target.
