ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

WHO YOU ARE:
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Sales, the Account Executive is responsible for identifying and engaging with vertical specific prospects, creating prospect pipelines, nurturing relationships and closing new business across the PEX suite of products.
This team member will focus on hunting and closing new logos using a consultative approach to gain a deep understanding of prospect needs in order to align with PEX platform product suite. Account Executives should have a growth mindset and be focused on continuous improvement.
WHAT'LL YOU DO:
Manage full quota driven sales cycle from sourcing new leads in targeted verticals to create pipeline and drive interest in PEX product suite
Using a consultative sales approach you will identify and qualify leads to determine best product solution fit for prospects
Work with sales and marketing leadership to improve messaging, pitch, value prop and positioning to optimize conversions and drive new business acquisition
Self motivated, independent and comfortable working in a startup environment
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as the subject matter expert to customers to help solve business problems and improve workflow challenges.
Work collaboratively with cross functional stakeholders to shape GTM strategy and execution
Maintains professional and technical knowledge; reviews professional publications; establishes personal networks; benchmarks state-of-the-art practices; participates in professional societies.
50% or greater travel is required as needed
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years of experience in sales (preferably in Saas or Fintech)
Comfortable in making cold calls to highly targeted prospects
Source and close leads that fit PEX ICP and align with company OKRs
Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed determined sales and activity quotas.
Proficient in Salesforce, Google Workplace, ZoomInfo, or other sales-related platforms
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaborate well across teams
High energy and positive attitude with strong organizational skills, follow-up, and attention to detail
