Position Summary
This Account Director will serve as a member of the account team for one or more of Aetna's largest commercial medical customers as well as a liaison between other Aetna/CVS account teams. This role's primary responsibility is for both growth and business retention of Aetna/CVS Health products and services through a highly strategic and consultative approach.
The ideal candidate willAct as a senior strategic business partner, optimizing and positively positioning Aetna's products and services while attaining profitable membership growthPartner with the assigned strategic lead to establish a customer stewardship plan and contribute to the execution of key componentsSupport the renewal process, working closely with the Leadership team, to develop a competitive financial offer that achieves financial goalsBe accountable for establishing and maintaining relationships with key external constituents and appropriate internal partnersEnsure plan sponsor(s) are kept informed of any regulatory issues and/or developing healthcare trends potentially impacting their benefits programs/strategyAccountable for client success, communicating and delivering regular updates regarding customer needs, interests and developments to local leadership teamRequired QualificationsExperience in either leading or partnering in a highly strategic manner with large Public Sector, Taft Hartley or National Account customersKnowledge of multiple products including, but not limited to, Commercial medical, Pharmacy, Group Medicare and DentalStrong communication and problem solving skillsHealth & Life Licensure is required or willing to obtain within 60 days of hire.Preferred QualificationsThis role must reside in Northeast or Mid-Atlantic regionsCross functional experience across Aetna/CVS HealthAt least 5+ years industry experience with proven track record of successEducationBachelors degree or equivalent work experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$60,400.00 - $124,100.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
