We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Agency Account Director specializing in Investor Relations and Communications to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial communications and writing, with a keen focus on detail. As the Agency Account Director, you will be responsible for managing investor relations projects, ensuring seamless execution of events such as investor days, trade shows, and Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), and cultivating strong client relationships. Your expertise in investor communications, project management, client relations, and business development will be instrumental in enhancing our clients' financial communications and fostering new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Investor Relations Management:
Develop and implement comprehensive investor relations strategies for clients.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients and their investors.
Provide strategic counsel to clients on financial communications and investor engagement.
Financial Communications and Writing:
Produce high-quality financial communications materials, including press releases, annual reports, and investor presentations.
Craft compelling narratives that effectively communicate clients' financial performance and key messages.
Ensure accuracy and clarity in all written communications related to investor relations.
Project Management:
Lead and coordinate investor events, including investor days, trade shows, and IPOs.
Oversee end-to-end project management, ensuring timelines, budgets, and client expectations are met.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver successful events.
Client Relations:
Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
Foster strong client relationships through regular communication and understanding of their business objectives.
Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively.
New Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the investor relations and communications space.
Collaborate with the business development team to prepare proposals, pitches, and presentations.
Participate in networking events and industry conferences to expand the client base.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Communications, or related field. Master's degree or CFA designation is a plus.
Proven experience in investor relations, financial communications, or a related field.
Strong financial acumen and understanding of capital markets.
Exceptional writing and communication skills with a focus on clarity and accuracy.
Previous experience managing investor events, including IPOs, is highly desirable.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships
