About 2024 Summer Intern - Immersive Technology

  Description

  Work Arrangement : This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to GM Global Technical Center - Design Center in Warren, MI on a full-time basis.

  The Role:

  Work with the Asset Creation Team in Design to learn how Immersive tools and visualization support product decision making. You will learn how Immersive Technology can be applied in large enterprise environments, how vehicles are developed, and how your skills can be applied outside of a typical entertainment/video game career path.

  Primary Responsibilities:

  Connect Engineering and Design through virtual data collaboration Present new ideas, methods, and solutions. Actively identify new areas for learning and take advantage of learning opportunities.

  Required Qualifications:

  Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or Advanced degree in Game Design & Development, Entertainment Arts, Computer Science, or related field Must be graduating on or after August 2024

  What will give you a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):

  Creative proficiency with supporting portfolio. Virtual software/systems including: Unreal Engine, Unity, or 3D modeling software (Max, Maya, Alias, etc.) Virtual Reality hardware Additional creative skills will be considered. Bring what you have!

  Student Stipend: GM will provide a one-time lump sum taxable stipend payment to eligible students selected for the 2024 Student Program.

  Pay Transparency: The salary range for this role is $4,000 -$6,100, dependent upon class status and degree.

  Benefits: Benefit options are not available for this role.
