UPMC Health Plan has an exciting opportunity for a Summer Internship in the Clinical Training/Education & Health Promotion department. This internship will be Monday through Friday daylight hours and will consist of working from home and in office. We are looking for recent undergrad graduate students, graduate students and rising seniors interested in Public Health, exercise science and/or nursing. The internship is a set rate of $18.00/hr.
The intern will have an opportunity to learn more about the UPMC Health Plan Clinical Training operations including the areas of Clinical Affairs, Health Coaching, and Community Health Choices. The intern will complete a cumulative project supporting their learning of the training lifecycle for health coaches, care managers, and service coordinators and/or the creation of member-facing health education. The intern will complete a needs assessment and then collaborate with partners and stakeholders to design, deliver, and evaluate a training session or series for the clinical teams. The intern will also have an opportunity to support community health and wellness initiatives as opportunities are available in the community.
