The Software Application Services Systems Engineer will be responsible for working with a highly functional team responsible for managing and deploying software to ensure the mission, security, and legal, needs of our customer are met.
Responsibilities:
Independently develop technical solutions for the management of software deployments and configurationsManage and create software deployments to Windows workstations utilizing SCCM/MECMEnsure workstation software deployments are successful, and compliance goals are metFollow change management and established workflow processesProvide troubleshooting support for system software issuesPerform software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packagesEvaluate and assess existing systems and plan long term strategiesMay coach and review the work of less-experienced professionalsRequired Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI ClearanceBachelor's Degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience3+ years IT experienceExperience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM)Strong understanding of the Microsoft Windows Operating SystemStrong understanding of installing and maintaining software applicationsStrong Troubleshooting skillsStrong communicationskillsDesired Skill and Qualifications:
Experience in automating tasks using scripted languages such as PowerShell or GitLabExperience with Active Directory and group policy implementation and maintenanceExperience with the implementation of STIGs and remediation of IAVMsExperience with virtualization technologies (e.g. VMWare)EEO Statement
