Body Burn Corporation is looking for a Studio Administrative Assistant in Honolulu County, Hawaii. This is a temporary, full-time employment for April 7, 2024, to April 6, 2025.
Duties:
Assist Studio Manager with administrative tasks including phone calls, emails, and text messages.Create, maintain, and enter information into databases to ensure accurate record-keeping.Schedule and confirm appointments for clients and customers.Create exercise programs using experience, certificates, and skills in gymnastics, Pilates, Lagree, and flexibility training.Utilize skills and experiences to bring a new style of fitness education.Work with management to target clientele through marketing, communication, and social media.Work with the Social Media director to build a Japanese language advertising campaign.Create video content in Japanese for social media outlets such as Instagram and Facebook posts and stories.Translate English-language written captions into Japanese and check for cultural relevance.Advise social media manager on social media content for Instagram, Facebook, and email campaigns targeted to Japanese-speaking Oahu residents and university students.Advise social media manager on social media content for Instagram, Facebook, and email campaigns targeted to Japanese tourists.Act as the liaison for Japanese-speaking visitors who would like to participate in studio activities.Translate forms and public documents from English to Japanese.Requirements: Must have a High School diploma or GED, with a minimum of 2 years of college. Competitive athlete background in gymnastics, ballet, or dance. Certification in Pilates Reformer Level 1 or higher and Certificate Lagree Fitness Professional. Proficiency in spoken, written, and reading Japanese is essential.
Term and Conditions of Employment: Employer will offer $30/hr. Minimum 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday 6:00 am until 12:00 pm, and Saturday 7:00 am to 12:00 pm (schedule varies). Work on Sundays may be required. Overtime is available as needed. Overtime rate of pay is at least $45/hr. Employees will be paid 1 times their hourly rate for overtime. Workers will be paid bi-monthly on the 5^th^ and 19 of the month. The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wage due. The employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck as required by law.
Three-fourth guarantee: The employer guarantees to offer work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.
Housing: The Employer does not offer housing but will assist the worker in locating local housing
Transportation and subsistence to the place of employment: If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will arrange and pay directly for the reasonable costs of transportation and subsistence using the most ecological and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment reimbursement will be equal to the most ecological and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. The rate of reimbursement for subsistence during transportation is $15.46 per day if no receipts are offered, up to a maximum of $59.00 per day if the Worker presents receipts.
Visa and visa-related expenses: Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and ther related fees, including those mandated by the government.
Tools, equipment and supplies: The worker will provide at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.
Daily Transportation: The Employer does not offer daily transportation. However, the employer will provide a subsidized public bus pass.
