Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) is the backbone of how Amazon delivers packages to customers around the world. The Fleet Infrastructure team within ATS is looking for an experienced and strategically-minded Sr. Product Manager who will be responsible for owning and expanding the vision for Electric Vehicle (EV) charging within Middle Mile (MM) in support of Fleet's electrification goals. In this role you will create the best long-term approach for significant growth in our EV charging network, define product detail in the ambiguous EV charging space, work closely with technology-focused charger and truck Operations Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and leverage hardware, software, and process-based solutions that allow Amazon to rapidly deploy heavy-duty battery electric trucks. You will own the end-to-end product roadmap for all EV charging for our heavy-duty fleet and will be responsible for planning and implementing ATS’s fleet electrification goals in partnership with our stakeholders and customers. You will lead large strategic initiatives and Vice President-level goals, including EV charging development and scaling which will directly support our growing network of electric trucks. You will be working alongside Transportation, Operations, Finance, Worldwide Sustainability, Procurement, Carrier Management, Maintenance, and Data Science teams to develop a holistic strategy that enables end-to-end charging along a package's journey through Middle Mile.
The person in this role must be detail-oriented, have superior verbal and written communication skills, and be able to juggle multiple stakeholders at once. The Sr. Product Manager must identify problems before they happen and develop robust product features that stand up to scrutiny from various stakeholders and leaders. They must be able to accurately prioritize projects, make sound judgments, and work to improve the customer experience through the products you develop. The Sr. Product Manager will also be responsible for identifying and promoting sustainability initiatives and challenge how the decisions we make now will affect the carbon footprint of our network in the future.
Key job responsibilities
Responsible for developing the long-term product roadmap and strategy for EV charging in North America Middle Mile.
Lead upcoming VP-level goals around EV charging scaling and technology development.
Own all sub-strategies including charger maintenance, tech development, and retrofit strategies.
Develop product portfolio and appropriate feature set that best suits our customers by leveraging existing and upcoming EV charging technologies and working with suppliers to develop new, tailormade technologies for Amazon’s needs.
Establish growth targets in line with partner teams, contributing to annual business planning.
Drives product discussions for EV charging hardware/software in alignment with team vision, goals, and tenets. Creates product materials.
Own vendor relationships and alignment with vehicle deployment teams on timing/location of EV charger deployment.
Own MM alignment with Last Mile and Global Mile teams on end-to-end EV charging strategy.
Own safety-focused in-yard initiatives such as Snow Removal Equipment, determining strategic direction based on data and establishing scaling plans to continue safe operation.
Up to 25% travel within the US required.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or other related field
5+ years of product/program management experience
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with end to end product delivery
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience communicating with VP-level decision makers; experience communicating expectations and requirements with business and technology teams through written proposals
Demonstrable experience managing stakeholder relationships and working successfully across organizations to deliver results requiring collaboration and coordination with multiple teams
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree or equivalent
MBA or Master's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Computer Science, or related field
EV charging/Electricity/Smart Grid industry experience
Proficient at Microsoft Excel, Tableau, project management tools such as Asana
Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
Experience owning technology products

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $110,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
