The AHS Performance Marketing Team is seeking a talented Sr. Paid Search Manager to be the single threaded leader for the Paid Search channel for AHS. We are looking for a leader to build a comprehensive strategy and tactics needed to deliver incremental value and create a great customer experience. This role owns strategic keyword management, forecasting channel performance, optimization, and driving quality conversions across campaigns for our medical and pharmacy business lines, managing budgets, and reporting/insights. The Sr. Paid Search Manager will work closely with Amazon’s centralized Traffic and Marketing Tech org partners on optimizing account configuration and keyword targeting. This leader will also work closely with GTM and Channel Marketing managers, Finance, Tech, and BI to continually make paid search more efficient and automated. The ideal candidate has deep subject matter expertise in feed-based advertising at an enterprise level. This leader will understand the intricacies of how SEM and SEO work and is deeply quantitative to make data-backed decisions for optimization and experimentation.
Key job responsibilities
Provide overall paid search management oversight as the single point of contact for the team
Set search budget and performance projections
Optimize keyword portfolio and maximize overall value by identifying brand, category, and campaign opportunities incorporating current events and trends
Develop a testing roadmap for all keyword-based channels, new targeting and creative approaches
Monitor campaigns to identify traffic abnormalities and assist the team with troubleshooting as needed
Avoid under or over spend by managing existing campaigns within CPA thresholds
Present campaign performance to key stakeholders weekly in a clear, precise, and actionable way
Define and document performance and optimization learning/insights for best practice guidelines

Basic Qualifications
5+ years professional non-internship marketing experience
Expertise in building, executing and scaling major paid search campaigns
Excellent keyword bidding strategies, budget cap management and optimization tactics
Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
Experience working with multiple search engine desktop tools (Google AdWords Editor, Bing Ads Editor)
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
Preferred Qualifications
Able to thrive in ambiguity and can handle multiple tasks flexibly to take a business from 0 - 1
Experience with how to use keyword research and web analytics tools (Google Analytics) in campaigns
Experience with data visualization tools such as QuickSight or Tableau
Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership
Experience with search engine optimization (SEO), social advertising, and web usability
Understanding of creative development and production

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $112,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $186,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
