Northrop Grumman Strategic Deterrent Systems is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant 3/4 to support the Division Executive Leadership team in Roy, Utah. The position supports multiple senior leaders including the Senior Director of Operations, Senior Director of Global Supply Chain, and Senior Director of Mission Assurance.
What you'll get to do:
Key responsibilities include performance of all administrative and support functions. The job will involve coordination among multiple functional organizations located across multiple campus locations and time zones.
The position requires a self-motivated professional who is skilled in a full range of administrative support functions; including answering phones, ordering supplies, coordinating security related functions, travel arrangements, planning team engagement activities, filing expense reports, coordinating meetings across multiple calendars, managing/coordinating guests, supporting events and functions at multiple locations. Will support other administrative assistants as backup and provide training as required. Performs normal office functions such as setting up and maintaining files; interviewing callers and making proper referrals; arranging meetings and conferences; and receiving, referring, or answering mail. Reviews drafts and finished documents for appropriate grammatical usage; answers questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures. Gathers, compiles and reports on information relevant to supervisors assignment. May take and transcribe dictation.
Essential Functions:Calendar management (coordinate/sync unclassified and classified calendars).Meeting organization.Manage email distribution lists.Coordinating travel arrangement including associated visit approvals and support.Meeting planning.Travel expense report generation and closeout.Help coordinate/prepare briefing packages.Visitor coordination, arrangements, and serve as visitor liaison.General office management tasks:Sometimes backfill for the administrative assistant to multiple Directors including managing calendars, coordinating travel, and creating expense reports.Be asked to work overtime from time to time.Answer questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures.Gather, compile, and report on information relevant to supervisors' assignment.This position requires a positive team player who is flexible in attitude and dedication, with the experience and ability to effectively interface with all levels of Northrop Grumman leadership and support organizations, and customer management. Must have a good customer service attitude with ability to adapt when interacting with everyone from technical trades to Vice President.
This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Basic Qualifications:Administrative Assistant 3: High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience. Salary Range 2: $55,100 - $91,800
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
