JOB OVERVIEW:
As the EMEA Marketing team lead, the Senior Marketing Manager will drive the planning and execution of all marketing activities for the regional business. Reporting to the Director of Global Integrated Marketing, this role will be responsible for working cross-functionally to build strategic go-to-market plans, aligned to the overall business goals & customer needs.
In partnership with cross functional team members, this role will be responsible for developing, deploying, and measuring the results of clear and compelling marketing programs including product marketing, integrated marketing campaigns, lead and demand generation programs, events, and internal and external communications. To be successful in this role, this individual should have previous experience working with key stakeholders across the business including but not limited to, sales. product management, engineering, and human resources. The ability to build strong relationships based on confidence and trust as well as adapt quickly to changes in plans, goals or objectives will be key to success in this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Align EMEA marketing with the global plan, focusing on regional goals and customer needs.Lead the execution of a comprehensive integrated marketing plan, ensuring cross-functional alignment and accountability.Manage the development and implementation of regionally driven digital strategies and communication programs. Ensure unified user experience and messaging tailored to specific account requirements.Drive alignment and establish strong partnerships with local sales and product management teams.Ensure all market-facing communications deliver clear, compelling, and differentiated messages that Drive customer engagement and response.Work with internal and external creative resources to develop various content types (videos, advertisements, presentations, etc.) resulting in Lead generation, employee engagement, and product sales.Drive initiatives that turn insights into action.Manage the EMEA budget.Partner with the global auto comms team to develop and execute a comprehensive employee engagement strategy reaching all employee levels.Identify opportunities to maximize Automotive EMEA reach and engagement using integrated marketing tools such as PR, social media, web, e-marketing, advertising, events, and thought leadership.Define, measure, and report on the return of all demand marketing activities and investments.Manage relationships with internal creative service organizations and external agencies to support key marketing campaigns and programs.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
University degree in marketing/communication or business.Experience in the Transportation Industry is a plus10+ years of experience in developing marketing communication strategies and programs Strong business and analytical acumen with experience and understanding of analytics to drive market strategy and campaign effectivenessDemonstrable experience in developing strong, clear and measurable marketing strategies, goals and plans that are aligned with those of the company Experience with the full marketing mix including direct marketing, web/digital marketing, media planning and advertising, collateral production and event managementExperience with sales and marketing systems such as SalesForce.com, Eloqua and Adobe CQ5Excellent written and oral communication skills both in English and in German ADOBE Certified Expert - Analytics Business PractitionerExperience working with vendors - agencies, editors, photographers, designers, and printers - including negotiations and project supervisionPrevious experience working internationally
