Primary Responsibilities:
Support the insourcing of Prescription Validation Review (PVR) including the development of the system and processes Support the goal of 1300 PVRs per day Research state and federal regulatory issues Uses pertinent data and facts to identify and solve a range of problems within area of expertise Presents ideas and best practices to management to address business and operational process improvements Review and compare pharmacy submitted documents against pharmacy claims to ensure accuracy Address pharmacy inquiries about prescription validation reviews Perform calculations to assess accuracy of billing Document prescription review process and findings concisely and accurately Prioritizes and organizes own work to meet agreed upon deadlines Other duties as assigned by management

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED (or higher) Current and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician License in state of residence Current and active National Pharmacy Technician Certification (ExCPT or PTCB) 1+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail pharmacy, PBM, or specialized pharmacy 1+ years of experience in Microsoft Word (creating/updating documents) and Microsoft Excel (creating/updating spreadsheets, pivot tables, and formulas) Ability to work shifts during core hours of 6:00AM - 5:00PM PST
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (or higher) 2+ years of experience in Microsoft Word (creating/updating documents) and Microsoft Excel (creating/updating spreadsheets, pivot tables, and formulas) Experience with RxClaim and PARP In-depth knowledge of pharmacy operation
