Job Description
Senior Advisors for Alpharetta, GA location. Manage and support IT technical team. Oversee the design and implementation of applications and systems. Supervise the architecture of software solutions across multiple platforms. Drive technology initiatives to implement Decision Centre (DC) platform initiatives CICD, DB Resiliency rollout using MapR, Migration to Cloud. Work with various teams (Lead Team, US Decision Centre Teams) to design and create best practices, tools and reusable components. Work with Architects to drive the adoption of best practices around software, design, quality, performance in the DC Platform customization teams. Direct analysis of business requirements and feasibility studies. Cross train the knowledge across the team and train new associates on the DC platform. Develop and implement process changes for continuous improvement. Conduct regular follow-ups with associates to complete mandatory compliance training. Technical Environment: Ab Initio continuous flows and micrograph; Ab Initio on multiple platforms including conversion from mainframe (COBOL) to Linux; using ETL batch design patterns; Oracle databases; .Net; Web Services; Batch; Windows; SQL Server databases; complex large scale migration project delivery; CICD and Cloud (AWS).
Job Requirements
Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer/Electrical/Electronics Engineering or any Engineering field plus two years of experience in the job offered or in ab initio development solutions required. Skills required: Ab Initio continuous flows and micrograph; Ab Initio on multiple platforms including conversion from mainframe (COBOL) to Linux; using ETL batch design patterns; Oracle databases; .Net; Windows; SQL Server databases; complex large scale migration project delivery; CICD and Cloud (AWS). 40% telecommuting permitted. (Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer/Electrical/Electronics Engineering or any Engineering field plus five years of progressive experience in the job offered or in ab initio development solutions also acceptable).
