This includes comprehensive understanding of these models and funding source requirements, networking with other service providers in the community, recruiting families and providing services (to include assessment, planning, developmental screening, referrals, and education), supervising lead and direct staff, recruiting and supervising interns and volunteers, and assisting with securing new funding sources.Responsibilities:Responsibilities for Parents As Teachers (PAT) and ECEAP/Early ECEAPDevelop a strong understanding of the program models and contract requirements. Ensure staff are following those requirements.Become proficient at data entry and pulling reports for data bases systems: Visit Tracker and ELMS.Monitor enrollment levels for both programs, as required in their contracts. Work with Program Manager and the Leads to ensure that enrollment meets contract requirements.Create and administer recruitment plans for the programs in collaboration with the Leads and the Program Manager.Provide direct supervision for the Parent Educator Regional Leads and the ECEAP/Early ECEAP Family Support Lead (the Leads).Provide reflective and administrative supervision and document that supervision.Ensure that supervisees have an efficient and comprehensive record keeping system that facilitates accurate and timely completion submission, filing and retrieval of essential documents.Onboarding any newly hired Leads.Provide coaching and mentoring regarding any issues of performance that arise for either the Leads or home visiting staff.Monitor professional development and ensure Leads participate in any mandatory or important trainings.Support and monitor Leads with the following:Onboarding newly hired home visitorsQuality assuranceFile reviewsVisit ObservationsEnsure home visitors complete the Core Competencies Self-Assessment each year.Professional development tracking.Reflective and administrative supervision for each home visitor.HiringComplete position requirements for any open or newly created positions on the home visiting team.Review applications.Contact applicants to determine if they are interested in interviewing.Schedule and facilitate first and second interviews in cooperation with the Leads.Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and awareness through the hiring, training, and on-going professional development of staff.Final approval of timecards for all home visiting staff.Create and administer any Performance Improvement Plans that are needed for either Leads or home visitors.Complete introductory and annual performance evaluations in collaboration with the Leads and the Program Manager.Synthesize the outcomes of the annual Core Competencies Self-Assessment and create a professional development plan for the affiliate.Maintain an effective system of internal communication strategies.
