WHAT WE CAN ACHIEVE TOGETHER
The Reforestation Project Coordinator will be a member of our Minnesota,North Dakota and South Dakota Chapter\'s Forest Strategy and StewardshipTeam. They will work on an initiative called Minnesota Million (MM) - avision to reforest large swaths of Minnesota through collaboration witha broad and inclusive group of coalition partners. This initiativeincludes a new dedicated effort to increase and improve the quality oftree seeds and seedlings available in Minnesota. The Coordinator willassist with administration of a newly-awarded \$5M USDA Partnerships forClimate Smart Commodities grant (\"Climate Smart Seedling ProductionNetwork\") designed to promote higher quality tree seed collection andtree stock production in the state of MN. The Coordinator will becritical in the launch of this new program. The Coordinator will besupervised by the Reforestation Strategy Manager, and will work acrossinternal teams and a diverse group of coalition partners.

WHAT YOU\'LL BRING
Bachelor\'s degree in biology, ecology, natural resources management orrelated field and 2 years related work experience or equivalentcombination of education and experience. Experience administering grantfunds for projects, especially government grants, including experiencewith reporting, financial tracking, and project updates. Experiencebuilding and maintaining positive working relationships with colleaguesand a variety of partners. Strong written and verbal communicationskills. Experience using common software applications such as Word,Excel, web browsers, etc. Project management expertise and attention todetail and deadlines. In addition, the following DESIRED skills and/orexperiences would be an asset for this role but are not required. Forapplicants without these, please view these as areas or skillsets whereyou will have opportunities for growth and professional development:Experience building trusting relationships as a liaison betweenorganizations and marginalized or underrepresented communities. Workingknowledge and/or interest in forest industry, forest ecology, nurseryindustry, or similar.
